
Thomas K. Maiyo is a Partner at G K Kimaiyo & Company Advocates and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, and Notary Public. He has over twenty (20) years of experience in legal practice and public service.
He previously worked as an Associate Advocate, served as a Prosecutor with the Kenya Police Service, a Compliance Officer at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), County Coordinator for Lands in Bungoma, Nandi, and Uasin Gishu Counties, and later as Legal Counsel at the National Land Commission Headquarters in Nairobi. In 2022, he was appointed County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, and Urban Development in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
His practice focuses on land and property law, commercial litigation, public sector governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
